The Sky Collection Penthouse at Address The Blvd is, by any measure, one of the most significant luxury residential projects I have photographed. A five-star hotel and residences in the heart of Downtown Dubai, Address The Blvd occupies one of the most iconic positions in the city and the Sky Collection Penthouses are its apex.
Each penthouse spans 7,466 square feet. The interior design was executed in collaboration with Fendi Casa the Italian luxury house's interiors division, known for a design language that is simultaneously precise and sensorial. The result is a space where the furniture, finishes, and spatial sequence all speak the same language at exactly the same volume.
The living room operates at a scale that most residential photography never encounters. High ceilings designed for the views outside, an open-plan concept that flows without interruption, and a Fendi Casa palette of neutral tones, marble, and warm wood finishes. The floor-to-ceiling windows don't just frame the Burj Khalifa they make it part of the room.
The staircase is the defining architectural element of the space. It is, in the most literal sense, a sculptural object conceived as a centerpiece rather than a circulation element. I photographed it at multiple times of day. It earned every frame.
The dining room continues the material language of the living area. Marble surfaces, the same restrained Fendi Casa palette, and a ceiling height that elevates the act of being seated at a table. Everything is proportioned to the scale of the building it inhabits.
The office is where the residential and the institutional briefly meet a space designed with the same precision as the public rooms but calibrated for concentration rather than reception. The Fendi Casa furniture here is, if anything, more refined for being understated.
The brief covered both Sky Collection Penthouses not one. Each unit offered a different relationship to the views and a different sequence of spaces. Working across two penthouses of this scale in a single commission required a planned approach to coverage that treated the two units as a coherent body of work rather than a duplication of the same shots.
